Martha Swats

Owner

The Central/Northern New Hampshire office is owned and operated by Martha Swats, a local New Hampshire resident. Martha holds both bachelors and master degrees, is a licensed nursing assistant, and emergency medical technician. She has years of management experience and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Senior Advisor. Martha and her “Swats Team” are honored to provide dependable and compassionate caregiving services to hundreds of families throughout New Hampshire.

Kim Gallagher

Office Manager

Kim has lived in New Hampshire her entire life. She attended Plymouth State University and obtained a degree in business administration management with a minor in economics.  “I had spent most of my career in retail, from being a  cashier all the way to the office manager and bookkeeper for a family run clothing and jewelry store.” After taking time off to help my husband take care of his grandfather I decided that this was a field that I wanted to get into.  Keeping him in his home was where he wanted to be, and it was very gratifying for us to do it as long as we possibly could.

Mandy Hopkins

Client Care Manager

Mandy oversees the clients and their families to ensure they receive the best quality of care. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has been a Medical Assistant for over ten years. She has been involved in patient care and coordination throughout her career in the medical field. 

Sara Field

Care Supervisor

Sara ensures the caregivers are providing fantastic care. Sara has lived in New Hampshire her whole life. She is kind, family oriented and loves helping people. She has an associate’s degree in Medical Assisting. Her experience is in program development and management and supervision of over 60 personnel. She is excited to have an opportunity to give back to the community where she grew up. Sara is active and enjoys nature and going to the gym. She also enjoys reading, movies, and cooking.

Kayla Riendeau

Care Coordinator

Kayla grew up in New Hampshire and graduated in Meredith from Interlakes High School. Her whole world revolves around her family. She has a 10 month old son named Colton who she devotes all her time too when she is not busy at work. Kayla is a very active person who loves the outdoors camping, hiking, spending time on the ocean, or in the mountains snowboarding. She is a kind-hearted person who loves to help others and is very excited about being a member of the Comfort Keepers Team.

Tracy Boehner

Caregiver

Tracy says she made the best decision of her life and joined Comfort Keepers in 2014 after working in a call center for 20 years. She has lived in Laconia for 46 years and shares her home with two furry children (cats). On her off time she enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends. 
Tracy is a phenomenal caregiver who is known for being the client whisperer because she can get clients to do things no one else can.

Cheryl Greene

Employee of the Quarter

Cheryl joined the Comfort Keepers team in July of 2015. She is married with seven children and seven grandchildren. Cheryl loves people, animals, and providing home care. She is a great team player and is always ready to lend a helping hand. The office staff really appreciates her willingness to pick up shift whenever we call.

Lisa McCoy

Caregiver of the Quarter

Lisa joined Comfort Keepers in January 2016. She lives in the Plymouth area and grew up in Bristol. Lisa comes from a long line of RNs, firefighters, and police officers. She branched out, though and received an associates in business but found she had a desire to help people and have a more rewarding career. She enjoys time with her three children and two nephews along with her boyfriend. Lisa has worked with some challenging clients and is one of our go-to people for helping out last minute. We thank her for joining our team.

Cindy Wilson

Caregiver of the Quarter

Cindy joined Comfort Keepers in April of 2014. She has been a life-long resident of the Lakes Region. Cindy enjoys time with her two children and a new grandchild. She has been in the caregiving field for over 20 years with experiences in both home care and assisted living facilities. Cindy has her nursing assistance license and specialized training in medication dispensing, dementia, and hospice care. Cindy is known for impressing new clients so much that no other caregiver will do! We thank her for excellent customer service and awarded her Caregiver of the Quarter for 2nd Quarter 2016!

Mimi Moore

Caregiver

Mimi has been with Comfort Keepers since 2006! She is vital to our staff and has become part of her clients’ families. Mimi has been a lead caregiver and trainer for many years. She has a wonderful ability to put a client and their family at ease. She brings a feeling of comfort, safety, reliability, and devotion to her clients and her employer. With her exceptional personality and work ethic, Mimi is definitely our choice for Caregiver of the Year.

Susan Dugas

Caregiver of the Quarter

Susan joined Comfort Keepers in June 2014 having lots of experience with assisted living and developmentally disabled patients. She has worked with very difficult Alzheimer’s clients and earned the trust of the families and clients themselves. Susan is incredibly flexible with her schedule and a favorite of numerous CK customers. 

When Susan’s not at work she is usually with her horses or enjoying time with her husband.

We greatly value Susan’s highly tuned caregiving skills. 
She is a great asset to this time and very deserving of this award!!

Barbara Fullerton

Caregiver of the Year

Barbara Fullerton has been a resident of Plymouth/Ashland NH for over 20 years and joined Comfort Keepers in July of 2013. Barbara obtained a bachelor’s degree in religious education and worked alongside her late husband, Reverend Brian Fullerton. She has four sons, one daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.  Barbara feels “the work I do at Comfort Keepers has enriched my life!  I have gotten to know such a diverse group of individuals and their families whose unique life experiences and recollections are the foundation and history of our towns, nation, and world!” The administrative staff at Comfort Keepers along with the help of clients named Barbara Fullerton Caregiver of the Year for 2014. 

Rachel Stearns

Caregiver of the Year

Rachel Stearns has been a resident of New Hampshire for 40 years. She joined Comfort Keepers in January of 2013. Rachel was the Finance and Human Resources Coordinator for the town of Waterville Valley for 30 years. Rachel is married, has two sons and one grandson. “It is hard to believe Rachel came into this career after 30 years in an office setting. She was born to be a caregiver and truly loves the job and her clients. I couldn’t have asked for a better employee” states Martha Swats, owner. Awarded Caregiver of the Year for 2014. 

Nancy Cross

Caregiver of the Year

Nancy Cross has been a resident of Ashland, NH for over 40 years and  joined Comfort Keepers in 2008.  Nancy feels “the work I do at Comfort  Keepers is enjoyable and rewarding. I’ve met some great people, and I like the flexibility of the job and the support I receive from the staff.”  In addition, she volunteers at the Community Center. Nancy was named Caregiver of the Year for 2012.

Cheryl Costa

Caregiver of the Quarter

Cheryl joined Comfort Keepers Plymouth, NH September of 2012. She has been a resident of New Hampshire for nine years. Cheryl enjoys her time with her four children and two grandchildren. Cheryl came to us with lots of experience having previously worked in a nursing home in Massachusetts. She says she has enjoyed working with the staff and clients. Numerous clients have requested she become their primary caregiver. We thank her for dedicated service and awarded her Caregiver of the Quarter for 2nd Quarter 2015!

Marsha Mooney

Caregiver of the Quarter

Marsha joined CK October of 2013. She is a LNA and previously worked for Concord VNA. Marsha is a favorite of lots of clients and the primary caregiver for 2 long term clients. She has helped the office immensely with schedule changes. Plus she participated in the March for Meals walk in Bristol with Amanda and climbed a mountain with Martha 3 times as a participants of the obstacle course called Mountain Mucker (see the t-shirt!)     Marsha has 2 sons and lives in Belmont. She loves to cook and went to school for culinary arts. In the summer,  she spends free time helping her boys with motor cross racing.      

Jane Runnels

Caregiver of the Quarter

Jane resides in Acton, ME. She has over 35 years of service with Huggins Hospital in a variety of positions and Captain of Emergency Medical Services for Wakefield Fire and Rescue. 
Jane help spread the word about Comfort Keepers in the Carroll County area. She has taken on some challenging situations in home care and always performed wonderfully. Jane has my utmost trust in difficult situation. The clients and families appreciate her dedication and professionalism. The administrative staff is grateful for Jane’s help in last minute shifts.

Llanna Griffin

Llana has been with Comfort Keepers since May 2013. She is also a registered medical assistant. When she is not caring for my clients, she spend time with her three children and her husband.
She loves being a caregiver and doing anything that she can to help them stay in their home.
